We will always be forward thinking about the future of the Australian Cobberdog.
We recognize that the Australian Cobberdog is still a young and developing breed. We will select breeding stock with the aim to produce puppies that move us closer to the breed standard.
We will ensure a high quality of life for our dogs and future generations by carefully planning and selecting over generations.
No female shall be mated without conscientious consideration of her welfare (both physical condition and emotional well-being) and that of her offspring.
We shall not breed a litter unless we have the time, energy, finances, and facilities to devote to the care and nurturing of the puppies and their mother.
We will screen prospective buyers for their suitability for providing a loving and responsible home for a Cobberdog puppy.
Prospective buyers will be fully aware of the characteristics of the Cobberdog breed, stressing the necessity for care, grooming, and exercise.
All puppies will be registered with the MDBA before 6 months of age. A copy will always be maintained for our records.
No puppy shall leave our home to join a new family before 8 weeks of age.
All puppies will receive appropriate vaccinations, de-worming, vet checks and certifications with corresponding documentation before leaving our home.
All families will be provided with all relevant breed and puppy care information before the puppy goes home. This includes information about puppy care, diet & nutrition, parasite control, potty training, crating, early socialization, grooming, veterinary medicine, and any other information relevant and helpful to the purchasing family.
All puppy families will be provided with a written health guarantee.
Support and advice will always be provided for our puppies and their families.
Puppies will never knowingly be sold or given to laboratories (ie. research establishments, medical or experimental facilities), pet shops, dealers, dog fighting rings, shelters, or humane societies.
We will only sell puppies and adult dogs which are in good health at the time of sale to the best of our knowledge (as evidenced by their veterinary check done within 48 hours before going home).
We will never knowingly sell a puppy or adult dog with apparent physical defects (as evidenced by their veterinary check) without the buyer being made aware of such defect and its possible consequences.
We will always impress upon the buyer that they should always contact us in the even of any problem arising with the puppy or adult dog.
We will make every attempt when possible and practical to help our puppies and dogs' families when a problem arises.

We will make every effort to co-operate and be pro-active in any measures to eradicate hereditary diseases or genetic defects known or suspect in the Cobberdog breed.
